Jasmine Pearls is one of the most beautiful representatives of handcrafted tea art.

Requiring attention, skill, care and skillful hands, Jasmine flavored pearls contain smooth green tea flavor and rich Jasmine flavors.

The process of making Jasmine Pearls begins only with the collection of new tea shoots in the spring. The upper bud and the two leaves just below are cut off with the stems, the lower leaves are discarded, and only the bud and the long stem are preserved.

Using traditional bamboo trays, the buds are kept under direct sun or at low temperature to lower moisture, making them soft and favorable.

When sufficient flexibility is achieved, the upper bud and trunk are slightly bent. It is placed between thumb and forefinger to make it into pearl shape. Then, the rounded pearls are given heat several times with jasmine flowers to achieve the desired flavor resistance. Thus, the flavor of Jasmine passes to the pearls. This process is repeated at least five times. At least 4000 pearls are required for about a kilo of tea.

Although green teas are produced at different times throughout the year, the best flavored teas are usually collected in the spring. Still, the most fragrant Jasmine is summer flowers. For this reason, Jasmine flower requires experience and skill. Successful Pearl makers strike a good balance between leaves and flowers.
