During the isolation days we live, we all left ourselves in the arms of technology. Meeting with our loved ones, attending meetings, online market shopping. As technology continues to touch every point of our day, I invite you to meet a technology that you can use for your soul.
Hear the Call of the Heart
“At the end of my 6-year white-collar business life, I took the path of the yoga studio with a call flowing to my heart in a process where I left my job and sat in chaos while not knowing what to do at home. I had no idea where I heard about Kundalini Yoga or what kind of yoga it was. When I said Lesson 1, then Lesson 2, I found myself in instructor training without going to Lesson 3. It was the first time in my life that I felt deeply and timelessly, united, and that every cell of myself will always be a part of this whole. Until that day, I thought it was only with eyes to see my eyes with my closed eyes. Thank God that my heart finally heard this call and went after him.”
Let's look at the Kundalini energy, which is the basis for Kundalini Yoga Technology, which will introduce you to the purest form of your soul.
What is this Kundalini Energy?
Kundalini Energy is a passively sleeping potential energy found in the triangular sacrum bone at the bottom of our spinal cord. It is thought that this energy sleeps at the root of our spine from the moment we fall into the womb of the mother. When this energy is awakened, it starts to rise along the spinal canal by drawing two channels spirals along one channel called “sushumna” from the side of the spine, one is negative (ida) and the other is positive (pingala). When the Kundalini energy begins to awaken, it rises by passing over 7 chakras that affect our mental, physical and mental health. The awakening of Kundalini is basically the awakening of your own awareness and consciousness.
Kundalini Yoga as a Science
To begin with, Kundalini Yoga is a science and technology of human consciousness. It works on the body's energy channels and meridians, allowing us to achieve a higher level of consciousness and mental clarity by using postures, movement, breath, eye gaze, mudra and mantra to activate pressure points in the body. In addition to other types of yoga, she seeks a spiritual unity on body and mind awareness.
How did it reach our lives?
The 5000-year-old Kundalini Yoga technique was brought to India from India in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan. Prior to Yogi Bhajan, this ancient technology was used among the aristocratic segment and was not known to the public. He first went public with him, first spread to America and then to all European countries.
How Do We Do Kundalini Yoga?
No lessons are the same in Kundalini Yoga and Meditation classes. Cryo sets consisting of sets following a certain technique are used in the lessons. Kryyas are a series of posture / movement / breathing exercises that take place in turn and at certain time intervals. The sequence never changes. Each posture or movement is timed to bring a reaction in the body, accompanied by the rest of kriya, that will bring the body and mind to a certain result. Kryyas is a special set of exercises that produce energy, regulate that energy and take you to a certain energy. Kryyas try to strengthen your nervous system, balance your glandular system, purify the body and calm the mind.
Kundalini Yoga is also used to balance the chakras and create an open path for energy to rise. By opening and balancing our chakras, we improve all aspects of our lives and strengthen our “survival tools” to manage today's challenges.
The most important point in Kundalini Yoga classes with the Kryyas is meditation. He can meditate in the simplest way, such as breath awareness or a simple mantra. Or you can practice more detailed meditations with a particular breath, mantra and mudra working together to balance different aspects of the mind and body. A Kundalini meditation can be as short as 30 seconds or can last up to 11 minutes or even 62 minutes. However, each is timed to take place chemical changes in the body, blood and brain.
